This Norwegian trio is based upon the uncommon line up Hammond B3 organ, piano and drums. We were all fascinated by the sound of these instruments, and thought it was too bad this lineup was not more common.

Capable of combining the groovy feel of the organtrio with the harmonic and melodic style of the piano trio, this should form the base for the perfect trio. Could make you wonder why this hasn’t been the most used trio lineup. But the answer came soon too us: Excess Luggage! The music is based upon strong melodies played with an open mind, lots of energy and an well developed interplay between three musician that has knows each other for many years. The tunes are a mix of original compositions developed for this trio, and arrangements of well known standards.
